Microsoft Prestidigitation?

Microsoft may be trying a little misdirection.  Just as magician will have the audience look up his sleeve to show them there is nothing there, a split second later, using sleight of hand, he's pulling a rabbit from his hat.

Of course, while everyone was looking at the magician's sleeve, he was loading the rabbit into his hat where no one could see.

Here's where the MS misdirection takes place.  I just got an email from PC Magazine. They've picked up a on a rumor regarding Windows 7.

"The next generation of Windows is coming and one of the rumors around the coffee bar is that Microsoft could offer a free upgrade to all Vista users. Essentially this would write off Vista as an unfortunate mistake and encourage all XP users out there to get on board with the next generation."

Microsoft just might be saying, "Look, here's Vista!"  And the very next moment pulling out Windows 7 saying, "Ta-Daa!!!  Windows 7!  Vista?  Where? We didn't see Vista!  It must have disappeared!"

Whether this is rumor is true or not, only time will tell.

But, don't get caught up in all the shuffling of MS Windows operating systems.  Simply get Linux.  Then you'll have a cutting edge,  secure, stable, and feature rich operating system that is yours to keep and share.

Get Linux.
