A New Linux Netbook?

It's been pointed out by many that Linux is amazingly adaptable and can be applied and modified to run on a variety of devices.

The word is now that Google's Android, whch runs the new Google Phone, is being modified and applied to run on an Asus EEE PC.

(Another report here and here.)

Android is Linux. So it probably won't take much to get it up and running on an Asus netbook.  In fact, it's  already, it's being reported that a group of folks have ported Android to run on a Netbook.

There are some exciting things happening in the Linux world for sure.  This is greatly due to Linux being open source.  Anyone can have Linux and customize it to their specific needs.  And the entire Linux community and its users benefit.

Get involved with the cutting edge of computing.  Get Linux.
