I was surfing the internet and came across this website. It lists the top 50 programs that are closed sourced, expensive, and well, drive you crazy due to those costs and licensing restrictions.But the great thing is, the site also lists open source alternatives to these restrictive programs.
Overall, I found the site to be a fair and informative review of open source software. It gives a balanced look at these open source programs,their strengths and weaknesses, and the likelihood you can reliably move to them and still complete your tasks.
